Automobile Accidents

If you have suffered an automobile accident and are having symptoms it is very important that you receive evaluation of those conditions as soon as possible.  Often the care provided initially after an accident  at an Emergency Department is directed toward ensuring that you will survive.  Additionally, patients are usually released with pain medication.  While these medications help you to tolerate the  pain they do little to help with your healing.  After an accident muscle strains and ligament sprains are common.  They result in the stiff achy dull sensation that limit your movement.  This is your body’s way of telling that there has been damage to the underlying structures and muscles.  X-rays do not show damage to the muscles and ligament.

Dr. MacLeod has been very effective in the treatment of patients following an automobile accident.  Through the use of a combination of different therapies including  hands on treatments ( adjustments, myofascial release and  trigger point therapy), physical therapeutic modalities, stretching and strengthening techniques Dr. Macleod is able to comfortably reduce your pain and increase your function and ability to bend and move.

Dr. MacLeod D.C. has practiced in Ohio for over 5 years and has a great depth of knowledge with regards to management of patients who have had an automobile accident.  Over the course of this time he has developed strong relationships with may different attorneys that focus on  Automobile Accidents.

Many of these attorneys  feel comfortable referring their clients to Dr. MacLeod because of the professionalism that he brings to each patient relationship.  Because of this relationship, Dr. MacLeod is able to keep the attorney informed with regards to your current condition.

Dr. MacLeod will evaluate your condition and determine what course of care is needed.  In many cases Medical Co-management is need to help with pain, inflammation or for further diagnostic evaluation.  It is for this reason that Dr. MacLeod has developed a large group of Medical Specialists and Doctors that he can refer to when needed.  These Doctors include, Internists, Orthopedists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Hand Specialists, Foot Specialists, and Neurologists.

If you have suffered  neck pain, stiffness across the shoulders, mid back pain and/or low back pain or if you have been diagnosed with  disc herniation or the pain associated with aggravation of spinal degeneration then you should contact Dr. MacLeod to see if his patient specific approaches to care could help your conditions.
